Dear Inner Circle,
The Vishnu Purana describes Patal Lok in extraordinary detail — seven realms beneath the earth, each with its own ecology, governance, and inhabitants. The deepest realm, Patala, is home to the Naga kings. My novels are set in this world. Not because I want to mythologise, but because I believe this tradition deserves to be taken seriously as a creative and philosophical framework — as seriously as Tolkien's Middle Earth or Le Guin's Earthsea.

As we closed 2025, the government's ₹92,000 crore MSME protection package began showing its first results. Export credit guarantees have been disbursed to 8,400 exporting MSMEs. The emergency working capital facility has seen 23,000 loan applications in six weeks.
What to watch in January 2026: the RBI's scheduled review of the MSME restructuring framework, and the Union Budget preview expected to include a dedicated MSME credit infrastructure bill.
