Three things caught my attention this fortnight — India's extraordinary economic response to the West Asia conflict, a question about Karna that refuses to leave me, and the one AI tool that has changed how I write every day. Let us go through them together.
While global supply chains were reeling from the West Asia conflict, India deployed a ₹92,000 crore package specifically designed to insulate MSMEs from the ripple effects. This is not a bailout — it is a structural intervention that combines emergency credit guarantees, export incentive enhancement, and import-substitution support.

We tend to read this as tragedy. I have come to read it as a deeply deliberate act of loyalty — not to Duryodhana, but to his own idea of who he was. Karna chose to remain the person his circumstances had made him, rather than the person his birth entitled him to be.
