Absolute Faith — The Gita's Framework for Trust Under Pressure

Dear Inner Circle,

Chapter 17 of the Bhagavad Gita opens with a question every entrepreneur eventually faces: what happens when a person acts with complete faith, but without formal scriptural knowledge? Is their action valid?

Krishna's answer is profound: faith itself is threefold — Sattvic (clear and purposeful), Rajasic (passionate and ego-driven), or Tamasic (blind and habitual). The quality of your faith determines the quality of your action, not the other way around.

"The faith of every person is in accordance with his nature. A person is what his faith is."

— Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 17, Verse 3

SME Growth Fund — ₹10,000 Crore and What It Means for You

The government quietly launched a ₹10,000 crore SME Growth Fund through SIDBI this quarter. Unlike the headline CGTMSE schemes, this fund operates through equity and quasi-equity — meaning it does not create debt on your balance sheet.

Who qualifies: manufacturing MSMEs with annual turnover between ₹5 crore and ₹50 crore, operational for at least 3 years, with a promoter willing to give up a minor equity stake (typically 10–20%). The fund takes a patient capital approach — no fixed repayment schedule.

🎯 Action This Fortnight
  1. Locate the chapter or verse that most challenges your current business assumptions — sit with it for one full week.
  2. Apply the SME Growth Fund framework: what ₹10 lakh injection would generate the highest output multiplier in your business right now?
  3. Read Gita Chapter 17 on the three types of Shraddha — it clarifies which partnerships are Sattvic and which merely convenient.
  4. Write a one-page analysis of your business's biggest faith-risk: the bet you are making on something you cannot yet prove.
  5. Explore the differences between SIDBI's direct refinancing products and the new co-lending models — both serve different growth stages.
